Payments verification
To protect your payments from fraud, Fidesmo Pay limits the number of PIN-less transactions, or the accumulated spending, that can be done without any identity verification. This is done on behalf of some banks as part of the EU regulation PSD2.
When you reach the limit set by your bank, payments on your wearable will be paused after which you need to re-activate it to continue using it. This is why we send out the email with the title “Action required: Activate payments on your wearable” to you, with instructions on how you can activate it for payments again. This email will be sent to you from donotreply@fidesmo.com every time you reach your PIN-less transaction limit. The limit varies depending on the country and bank.
Once payments on your wearable are re-activated, you will be able to make PIN-less payments with your wearable again, until you reach the PIN-less transaction limit once more.
