Payments verification
To protect your payments from fraud, Fidesmo Pay—in compliance with EU regulation PSD2—limits the number or total value of "PIN-less" transactions you can make before requiring identity verification. These limits are set by your bank and vary depending on your country and the specific financial institution.
What happens when I reach the limit?
When you reach the limit set by your bank, payments on your wearable will be automatically paused for your security.
To continue using your wearable for payments, you will need to re-activate it. When this happens, we will send an email with the subject line “Action required: Activate payments on your wearable” from donotreply@fidesmo.com. This email contains simple instructions on how to quickly re-activate your device.
Can I make PIN-less payments again?
Yes. Once you have successfully re-activated your wearable, you can continue making PIN-less payments as usual until you reach the transaction limit again, at which point you will be prompted to re-verify.
