If you have received an email from donotreply@fidesmo.com with the subject “Action required: Payments on your wearable will not work” or “Payments on your wearable will stop working,” there is no need to worry!

This simply means your bank has updated the card details associated with your wearable. To avoid payment declines, you just need to complete a quick renewal process. 


You will find instructions on how to Renew payments for your wearable below. The process is quick, easy, and of course secure!


Note: It is not possible to renew the payment service via the Self-Service Portal/Web; you must use a smartphone with NFC capabilities.

Android

  1. If you haven't done so yet connect your ring or wearable to your phone, by following these instructions.

  2. In the app, when you see your connected card, press the "Renew payment service" button.

  3. Once your wearable is updated, the process is finished and you can continue using your wearable for payments.

IOS

  1. If you haven't done so yet connect your ring or wearable to your phone, by following these instructions.

  2. In the app, when you see your connected card, press the "Renew payment service" button. If you can't see this button then it might be that your wearable doesn't support iOS, please contact your wearable manufacturer for further instructions, or use an Android phone with NFC-Capabilities to renew the payment service on your wearable.

  3. Once your wearable is updated, the process is finished and you can continue using your wearable for payments.


Self service portal/Web

It is not possible to renew the payment service using the web/self service portal.
