If you have already connected a payment card to your wearable (e.g., via an online connection), you can activate it for contactless payments using our Android app, IOS app or Self Service Portal by following the instructions below.


Note

  • If you have not yet connected a payment card follow these instruction instead.
  • If you have not yet connected your wearable through the Fidesmo app or website please follow these instructions before proceeding with the steps on this page.

Using the mobile app (Android/iOS)

1. Open the Fidesmo app and select your wearable to view its overview screen.

2. Tap the Activate payment card button located under the image of your payment card.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the activation of your payment token.


Using the Fidesmo Self-Service Portal

  1. Go to the overview screen showing your wearable and the services connected to it.
  2. Click Activate payment card.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate the payment token on your wearable.


Troubleshooting activation

During activation, you may be presented with several verification methods, such as SMS, a phone call to your bank, or app-to-app authentication. Please note that these options are determined by your bank. If you experience issues receiving codes or need to update your contact information, please contact your bank directly to resolve the issue.
